I am still alive! I know some of you have been worried by the lack of posts (some of you were probably dying without my fantasy football insights). The move was…a little more challenging than we expected. Okay, the move was actually pretty easy, but the unpacking, well that was the hard part. We are still no where near unpacked. I remember when we moved into our old house (weird to say that), it took us the full week, but by the end of the week we were pretty much unpacked and ready to go. There were a few small things that needed done, but that was about it. Not so much this time around. I do not have time to write much, hopefully in a few days I can recount the whole story. Instead, here are some quick updates on things:
-Payton’s room is painted and mostly done. She absolutely loves it. Lindsey had her pick out a bedspread and she chose a mermaid one.
-Logan is crawling!
-Samson seems a bit freaked out. But he is starting to adjust.
-A wise friend told me that moving can be the most stressful thing you can do. He is quite right. I think Lindsey and I have both had at least five meltdowns where one of us ends up in tears (usually me).
-Tonight will be the first night we stay in our new house. It sounds crazy, but seriously, there was no way and even now, we are not truly ready to stay here.
-Moving with kids is insanely difficult. I do not recommend it, unless they are older and can actually be useful.
