2019 Fantasy Baseball Week 4

The Donut! A dominant performance by my team. However, I will not brag too much since Offord is not actually participating this season due to unforeseen circumstances. I did not replace him because I am confident he will be back next season and most likely ready to dominate as he has in the past.

Fantasy Player of the Week
Luke Voit helped Gideon crush James this week. Ten runs scored, ten runs batted in, four home runs, and a .433 AVG/.528 OBP. Not too bad for a guy Gideon picked up after Pat dropped him.

Around the League
Jason 9 Matt 3
Lindsey 7 Dustin 5
Ryan 9 Adam2 3
Gideon 8 James 3
Sean 6 Pat 5

After all that talk about how good James was this year, he gets spanked fairly hard by Gideon (definitely not the first time). He went from first to fourth. My wife was destroying Dustin most of the week, but a huge Sunday almost evened things up for him. Ryan rebounded nicely after losing to me last week. Sean & Pat battled hard and are actually even in the standings (winning percentage-wise).

Best Move
I have to give this to Ryan for picking up A.J. Minter of the Braves. He picked up a save and a hold this week for Ryan. He won both of those categories without Minter, but it looks like Ryan could use a reliever who picks up a few more saves for him at the moment.

The New Week
As I alluded to earlier, the standings changed dramatically again. I am in first place, with a 4.5 game lead over Gideon. After that we have Lindsey and James, a half game behind Gideon. Then it goes Jason, Ryan, Sean, Pat, Adam2, and Dustin. They are 8-11.5 games back of me. After that we have Matt and Offord. They are digging a deep hole.

This week I take on Dustin. Lindsey faces Gideon. Matt tries his luck with Sean. Jason gets Ryan. Pat looks to drop James further down in the standings. And last, but not least Adam2 should rebound with Offord.
