Last year I picked a song that the kids enjoyed since that was about all I heard. It is tough finding new music since I play a few different Pandora stations, and they seem to play stuff a few years behind. For example, I got excited about a few songs that were new to me: “July” by Noah Cyrus and “Hallucinogenics” by Matt Maeson. But alas, those songs came out years ago.
However, Pandora must have read my post at the beginning of the year about really liking Lord Huron. They decided to play “Love Me Like You Used To” on one of my stations.
Probably the first time in a few years that I actually liked a song from that year.
