Kenobi–Chapters 4 & 5

Last week was pretty crazy for me, it was also fairly crazy for Obi-Wan Kenobi. He had to break into the Inquisitors base and rescue Leia. Oh don’t worry, it went well for him. They made it out, but you know…tracker. And then guess what? Yep, Vader and Reva track Kenobi with the rest of the Rebels (or whatever they are at this point, refugees I guess). Yeah, Ben is having a terrible week.

Honestly, I have no clue why some people are down on this show. It has been great. I guess some people just like to complain about everything. Idiots.

The Good…
-Obi-Wan holding the breaking glass with the Force. His skill is still in there, it is just rusty and it takes some effort (also, there is the idea that Jedi have troubles when there is so much suffering around).
-Vader vs. Reva. Yeah, we found out that she was the youngling and she saw Anakin killing the others. Her moment to attack Vader comes and it does not go well. He does not even ignite his lightsaber, just uses the Force to stop her attacks. He then stabs her with her own lightsaber.
-The escape of the ship. Vader grabbing it with the Force and pulling it down, then ripping it apart was savage. I thought for a second that Obi-Wan would leap out of nowhere to attack his former padawan to give the ship a chance to escape, but as soon as it crashed, it was obvious it was a decoy.
-The flashback to Anakin and Obi-Wan sparring. It was cool that it was a memory that Vader was having about his old master.

The Bad…
-There was nothing bad about these last two episodes. My only complaint might be the de-aging of Hayden Christensen. It just looked a bit weird. Nothing to the point that it made me mad or anything. Plus it was still great seeing him as Anakin.
-I did not like Tala’s death. It just seemed like it was rushed. Maybe they should have offed her in the next episode. I liked her and at least she got to go out by sacrificing herself for others.

Theories…
-I have a feeling that we will see someone else who hates Kenobi…I suspect at some point Darth Maul pops up. Obviously they do not face each other, but I could see him attempting to recruit Reva to his cause. Although, he only learned of Tatooine after his encounter with Ezra, so maybe he will not meet her.
-My guess is Obi-Wan races back to rescue Luke from Reva. They have an epic battle and Obi-Wan kills her. This is the point where he decides to keep his skills up. He does not seem rusty at all when Darth Maul shows up and he definitely is confident when he and Luke head to Alderaan. So I guess he communes with Qui-Gon Jinn and continues practicing and using the Force regularly.
