Okay, I should probably start off by saying that if you have not watched the sixth episode of Loki then you should stop reading immediately and go watch it. There are SPOILERS from here on out. Seriously…SPOILERS. For those of you that did watch it…please continue.
Damn, I have never been so happy to be completely wrong. When the door opens up and we see Jonathan Majors sitting there, I nearly peed my pants I was so excited. Way to go MCU for throwing me a curveball and making me look like an idiot.
The funny thing is that it worked so well for the series. They never mention his name. He never says “I am Kang!” Instead, he says “oh I have been called many things. Conqueror…” And we know that Majors is playing Kang in the next Ant-Man movie, but the cool thing is that this will not be that Kang. As he tells them, if they kill him, another version of himself will rise up and replace him and that variant may be much worse. That will be the Kang the MCU must face and find a way to stop. Or maybe Scott Lang will find a way to defeat all of them at once.
Anyways, a nice short post. I loved this series and the ending. I cannot wait for season two!
