A new season of everyone’s favorite weekly pick ’em! Will anyone beat me this year? Probably not.
Underdog Special: New York Giants (+3.0)
I was pretty good at these last year (12-5-1). Can I do a little better? Should I actually bet money on these and see where things end up? Maybe…Anyways, I think the Giants are bad, but not bad enough to lose to the Broncos. I think their defense can do enough to stop Denver.
Steelers Pick: I think this game will be close. I think the Steelers cover the 6.5, but I do not think they pull out the victory.
I had the 11th pick. That might be one of the worst possible picks. Too far down to get the elite running backs, but not at the bottom to benefit from the snake. Saquon was available there, so I decided to take him and then in the next round I took Metcalf. The QBs I was looking at were drafted before me, so I went with Herbert. There were a few others available, but I think Justin Herbert has the highest upside of the guys that were left on the board. If he takes a step forward and moves into that elite class, then BOOM, I look like a genius. If he is just slightly above average? Well then it did not cost me all that much. I was very happy with my 6th through 11th round picks. My final pick was a complete accident. I was look at Watson and when it was my turn to draft, I thought I was still clicked on someone from my queue and just hit draft…oops. I dropped Watson like five seconds after the draft ended.
