Poor Samson, Again

Samson has bad allergies, which causes him to scratch like crazy. On top of that, he has an ear issue. Lindsey has to clean his ears all the time (we had a vet explain the issue before, and it is complicated). When the ear (usually the right one) starts bothering him, he will scratch at his ear, and then shake his head violently, or rub his ear on the floor.
The other day it was really bad, and Lindsey noticed a weird bump in his ear. She called the vet the next day, and they told her to bring him in today. It was something they were able to take care of right away. She had to drop him off, and she said he was scared and shaking. But the vet took good care of him, and he came home later today.
Unfortunately, he has to wear a cone for two weeks until they can remove his stitches. He also has not eaten anything since yesterday (he had to fast before the surgery), and is not allowed to eat until tomorrow morning. Dinner time was rough, he kept jumping up trying to get food, but the cone was stopping him. Maybe this will curb some of his behavior. Or maybe it will cause him to just keep running into everything for two weeks. My money is on option two.
The important thing is that he is okay. Not going to lie, I was a little nervous while he was at the vet. He drives me crazy at times, but I still love him.
