2023 Fantasy Baseball: Week 4

My team’s hitting is becoming a concern. Those stats look closer because of a strong weekend again. At least I picked up a bunch of stolen bases. Thairo Estrada led the way with three. Honestly this week would have been fine if not for a couple of bums named Nolan Arenado and Mookie Betts. They were absolutely useless.

Fantasy Stud
Byron Buxton turned things around this week. He batted .304 with a .360 OBP. Buxton smashed four home runs, which helped him amass ten runs batted in, while scoring six times. That ist he production I was hoping from him when I drafted him in the 9th round.

The Season
Well that loss dropped me to 9th place. This season is not going the way I expected. I need to turn things around, and my best bet is this week against my wife. She does not set a lineup, so there is a good chance I can pick up a win. Offord continues to dominate. He is 40-5-1 (that has to be the best start ever, I do not need to look it up) and now has a 13 game lead on Ryan.

Damn, this whole playing music thing when I win is not working out so far.

We get some music this week though, in honor of Gordon Lightfight who passed away today. He was a fantastic folk singer.
