2018 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 2 and Fantasy Football Week 1

I should know by now that week one will always be weird. I wonder how many teams lost that sat their starters for the majority of the preseason? Or if they did not lose, at least had close games. Lookin’ at you Pittsburgh.

Underdog Special:  New York Giants (+3)
I think the Giants will actually win this game on the road against the Cowboys. I know it is only three points, but I just have this feeling that Dallas is going to do anything and everything to contain Saquon, which is going to allow Eli the chance to beat them with Beckham. This is solid analysis here.
Underdog Record: 0-1

Last week I finished 5-10. Gideon was the super genius at 10-5. After that we have Jon, Offord, Adam, Mom, Jason, me, Lindsey, Sean, Rob, and Ryan.

I got crushed by the reigning champion in week one. No time to panic though, I made a few adjustments, so hopefully I can put up some more points next week.

Standings
Gideon (1-0)
Jarrod (1-0)
Adam (1-0)
BatmanJason (1-0)
Seth (1-0)
Jason (1-0)
Lindsey (1-0)
Dustin (1-0)
Ryan (0-1)
Offord (0-1)
Bill (0-1)
Josh (0-1)
Scott (0-1)
Jessica (0-1)
John (0-1)
Rob (0-1)

Instead of writing about the previous week’s matchups, I am going to focus on one player that I thought had a huge performance. It can be from anyone’s team. This week it belongs to Gideon for Michael Thomas and his 43.00 points against Tampa Bay. Definitely worth that first round pick for Gideon! Maybe we should call this award the Regret Award…as in, we all regret not picking this player now.

This week I take on Dustin, while Lindsey hopes to continue her winning ways against Adam. Gideon will try to put up 200 points again versus Offord. Jarrod should have an easy time with Scott. Jason battles Rob, who claims he is good at fantasy, but after week one, may want to rethink that statement. BatmanJason (who would like me to point out that actually three people went to IUP in this league, oops, my bad, I thought he went to Pitt) will try to continue winning against John. Jessica takes on Bill, and Ryan faces Seth. Damn, mentioning eight matchups is hard work.
