I only got one of the championship games right, but it just happened to be my Patriots pick. That brings my underdog record to 8-11. Not too bad.
Sean is the winner, which is his second Pick ‘Em championship in a row. I may have to go back through the history of the pick ’em to see if he is our all-time leader.
After that we have Mom then Gideon. I am in 4th, tied with Ryan. I guess it depends on how things go on Sunday to determine which of us ends up the higher place (unless he makes the same pick as me). After that we have have Jon, Adam, Jason, Offord, Lindsey, and Rob.
On to my pick. I am taking the Patriots. I took them last year and they lost. So I figure that I will take them again. If I am right, then yay I was right. If I am wrong, the Patriots lost and yay again.
I need to be honest here, I do not totally want the Patriots to lose. I was watching the championship game and was rooting for the Patriots. I just like watching how Belichick manages the clock or how Brady just becomes unstoppable with the game on the line.
I know, I am supposed to hate them, but I just cannot. And so this Sunday I will be rooting for the Rams, but there will be this weird part of me that secretly (not so secret now) wants the Patriots to win.
