Best of 2024: Favorite TV Show

I feel like television was a little bit down this year. There were a bunch of good shows that I watched, but not too many great shows. The five-stars were fairly minimal. Here are the shows I watched this year, and their corresponding ranking. I will also include some shows that I have started watching this fall.

Seven five-star shows, but which one was my favorite. I have to give it this year to Shōgun, which is probably the best TV Show this year. It won the Emmy for Best Drama Series. For good reason, the entire season was flawless. The beauty of the production, makes you feel like you are in 16th century Japan. The performances were all top-notch, and it was riveting television for ten episodes. I cannot wait for season two.
