A big year in movies for us. We took Logan to his first movie, Lightyear. I also took the kids to see DC League of Super-Pets, which the kids thought was hilarious. It was the first time I took both of them to the movies by myself. It was not too bad, and honestly, I should do it more often. The other big movie this year was Sing 2. She has watched it at least fifty times on her tablet (I bought it for the trip to Myrtle Beach and for some reason she will only ever watch it on there). Turning Red was the other big kids movie, but Logan was not a fan, so we do not watch it all that often. I was going to debate which of these movies should be the favorite, but then it occurred to me that there was an obvious answer…
Encanto!!!
Yes, it came out in late 2021, but come January, they were obsessed with it. They watched it like every day for a few weeks. When we watched a movie outside, guess what they chose? Yep, Encanto. And you know what? I loved it as well.
