2021 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 17 & Fantasy Football Week 16

Last week feels like it was a month ago. Does that make sense? Everyone jokes about how Christmas to New Years is such a weird period of time, but it is the truth. Jon and I both put our names in the record books by going 12-4 last week. Granted, it does not help Jon catch me at all. My brother had a nice week as well, picking eleven. I am still in first place, with a solid five point lead on Adam and seven on Jon. 

Underdog Special: Houston Texans (+12.5)
I won last week with my Miami pick (I should have taken it earlier in the week because by the time I picked it, they were the favorite, so taking it at the +3.0 meant I won my money back, haha). This week I am taking the Texans. I do not think Houston will win, but they will probably keep it close. I think the 49ers will be somewhat conservative offensively with Lance starting. 
Underdog Record: 10-6 (+$60.23)

Steelers Pick: I think the Steelers win this game. I know they have defensive players out and the offense is still…well whatever. I just think Ben will have enough emotion with it being his last game at Heinz Field. Or maybe he throws four picks and they get blown out. Either one of those scenarios is possible.
Steelers Pick Record: 8-7

Okay, my bitterness in the past few weeks meant I did not write too much about fantasy football. Well, I am even more bitter after last week. I lost to my brother in the first round and Joe Burrow only scored 24 points for me. This week? HE PUT UP 100! What the actual fuck????

Anyways, in typical Adam fashion, he dominates the regular season then loses in the playoffs. Seth is making his first appearance in the finals after a nice win against BatmanJason. Lindsey is looking to repeat as champion. If she wins again, I think it may be time to acknowledge her drafting strategy is good. 

Good luck Seth & Lindsey! And good luck to me. I would be happy with fifth place. 

Also, on a positive note. I did win my other fantasy league (well I won the playoffs, but I finished in 4th place for points, so I did not win the most money, not bitter at all…haha).
