The third part of Audible’s The Sandman features some of my favorite stories. “Brief Lives” is probably my favorite story from the series. The dynamic between Delirium and Morpheus is fantastic. I just love the little things that happen throughout the story. And then “World’s End” is such a fantastic collection of stories that seem to have little connection, until you start to realize they are all connected. I just love all of the little things, like there being funerary rights for one of the Endless.
Real quick, one of my favorite parts is when Delirium and Dream are on an airplane. A little girl asks Dream about knowing how to fly when she dreams. He gives her a cool answer. Also, Delirium driving the car while Dream is sitting there disinterested is hilarious.
