2024 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 6

I did alright last week with eight. Some teams decided to not listen to me. Also, everyone makes fun of the Giants for being terrible, yet they have two wins (and they should have beat the Commanders–score three touchdowns to their ZERO and lose the game???), I figured the Seahawks were a lock in that one. Oh well…my eight was good enough for second this week behind Jon’s nine. The real news though is Sean only picking four right! He is still in first place, but he only has a one point lead over Offord. Jon and I are two points behind, followed by Michael at 39, Ryan at 34, and James in dead last with 9 (I guess he gave up after week one). 

Underdog Special: Denver Broncos (+3.0)
I got greedy last week and tried to swing for the fence, but struck out hard. This week I took mostly favorites, but I like the Broncos against the Chargers. Since the Steelers loss the Broncos have rattled off three straight wins, against decent opponents as well (Bucs and Jets–not elite teams, but teams that most of us figured would beat Denver). I do not like the three points though, I may take an alternative spread (I prefer half points since you cannot have a push). I think 3.5 is the better number. 
Underdog Special Record: 3-2 (+$18.60)

Steelers Prediction: I was wrong last week (I mean, I was right about the Cowboys and the points, but that is not what this prediction is about). I thought for sure the defense was going to stop them at the end. Oh well, it is a new week. The Steelers head to Vegas to play a fairly bad Raiders team. They are starting Aidan O’Connell, but Davante Adams might be out (or traded by then). The Steelers should win this game, BUT I would not be surprised if Las Vegas pulls out the win. This game has classic Tomlin loss written all over it. Actually, I am going to predict it now. The Steelers lose this game 13-10. I hope I am wrong.
