2025 College Football Predictions: Southeastern Conference

We are getting to the end of the conferences! All we have left are the big ones: the SEC and the Big Ten. The national champion will come from one of these two conferences. Will it be Texas, Georgia, LSU, or Alabama? Or perhaps another team will rise up to win this conference and dominate the playoffs.
I am totally bought in to the Texas hype train. I think Arch Manning leads the Longhorns to a conference championship. Georgia and LSU will be there as well, they could easily knock Texas out of that top spot. Alabama will be very good, but they are just not quite ready to be the Crimson Tide of old. Florida will finally look like their old selves, and Texas A&M will do what they always do…be totally over hyped all off-season, then lose a bunch of games to teams they have no business losing to, but beating some top team easily.
South Carolina is a bit of a wild card, I think they have a solid team, and if they can just put it all together for a full season, they will be in the playoff mix. Tennessee, Auburn, and Ole Miss have tons of question marks, but also a decent amount of potential.
Mizzou is the most intriguing team. Mainly because of Beau Pribula. The former Penn State backup quarterback gets the chance to prove himself, and I hope he has a monster season. The Tigers are trying to rebuild through the portal, and definitely brought in some interesting receivers. The line could be a problem, but if Beau wins the starting job over Sam Horn, his legs will help cover some of the o-line struggles.
Hot Seat: The only coach in this conference who could possibly be in trouble is Brent Venables. If Oklahoma goes 6-6, he could find himself out of a job. They have a great defense, and they have plenty of talent, so there should be no excuses.
