It is always very satisfying to defeat Ryan. It is even more fun to have a fantastic comeback and end up with a pretty solid victory. Ryan and I both had pretty good weeks, I would imagine either of us would have been able to win against just about anyone. I knew my team was fine, just needed to have some patience.

The trade finally paid off! Votto scored 7 Runs, knocked in 8 RBIs, and hit 4 HRs. He also hit .360 with a .543 OBP. That is a monster week. I seriously have one of the best first base combos, since Miguel Cabrera also had a huge week.

Best Move of the Week
I am going to give myself this one. I picked up Walker Buehler, the Dodgers prospect pitcher. He made two starts this week and picked up a win with eleven strikeouts, but also had a 1.80 ERA. That win helped me tie that category and kept my ERA nice and low. I have been keeping an eye on Buehler for about a year now, I think he has the potential to be a top starter, so it was nice to be able to snag him early and reap the rewards.
I am guessing that when Offord saw he beat Gideon this week, his first reaction was “damn, I bet I am in first place.” Or at least in second place behind Gideon, but nope. Lindsey has moved into first place after that decimation of Jason. I am now 20-26-2 and still in 9th place. This week I take on Jason, who drops to 4th place. Lindsey takes on Pat (6th). Gideon should rebound nicely against the worst team in the league, Ryan. Offord faces Adam2 (5th). Sean (7th) and James (8th), while Dustin (10th) and Matt (11th) also battle it out in the hopes of climbing the standings.
