Have you seen this commercial?
How often are you sitting at Starbucks, enjoying a Peppermint Mocha, when you think to yourself “damn, if only I could do some banking right now, this would be perfect!” Pretty much never. That is the answer. You never think it. No one does.
One of the lines on the website says:
Our Cafés are inviting places where you can bank, plan your financial journey, engage with your community, and enjoy Peet’s Coffee®. You don’t have to be a customer.
Engage with your community…when I think of my community, the first thought that comes to mind is Capital One. You know, one of the largest banks in the country just screams local.
When I see the commercial, I always think of this scene from You’ve Got Mail.
They have one in Philadelphia. Has anyone ever been there or to one of the other thirty locations?
