Not the greatest start to the season for me. I only picked seven correctly last week. My brother was the big winner with eleven correct picks. After that we had Mom with ten, Jon with nine, myself, then John, followed by Sean at six.
Underdog Special: New York Giants (+5.5)
I was far off with my pick last week. The Chiefs do not seem to be at all hungover. This week, I am taking the Giants. I thought they played well against the Steelers. Against a slightly lesser defense they could have moved the ball more. I think they actually beat the Bears.
Underdog Record: 0-1
Steelers Pick: The score ended up being higher, but I was pretty close on my prediction of how the game would go. I think this week the Steelers have little problems with the Broncos. My guess is 28-10.
Steelers Pick Record: 1-0
I am going to write about fantasy football in a different way this year. Hopefully it is more enjoyable.
Best Pick-Up: Malcolm Brown–Chandler Bongs definitely enjoyed the 26.00 points Brown scored, unfortunately it did not help him with a win.
Worst Benching: Aaron Rodgers scored 60.60 points and he was on WranglerJeanShorts bench. WJS lost by 10.70. He started Jimmy Garoppolo who only had 38.80. It cost him a win.
Scoring Machine: Matt Ryan (66.90)–definitely helped Tank the Fish dominate.
Projection Crusher: Davante Adams (46.60 vs. 19.50)–Tank the Fish
Projection Loser: Michael Thomas (21.68 vs. 4.70)–COVIDIOTS–I know, Thomas gets injured, but that was a killer for me. If he does not get hurt and hits close to his projection, I win.
Why Bother: The Minnesota Defense with a whopping -8.00 points. Scott would have been better off starting no one.
Standings
Not a great start for myself and it does not look like a promising week for me. I take on Tank the Fish. The matchup to watch this week is Peppa Pigskin (my lovely wife) and WranglerJeanShorts. Like I said above, he lost a close one and if Rodgers started, he would have won. Will he be smarter this week and start the better QB?
