Political Ramblings: Part 4

Lindsey and I received our ballots the other day and we took the time to fill them out today and get them in the mail. I considered just taking them to the county office in Ebensburg, but I trust the Post Office and honestly have no time to get up to Ebensburg.

I do not need to tell you who we voted for in this election. I think you can figure it out. I voted Democrat the entire way down. No one is running against Jim Rigby, so maybe people should write me in for that one.

Make sure you get out there and vote on November 3rd. If you have an absentee ballot, then fill it out and get it in as soon as possible. No point in letting it sit around end up forgetting about it.

And hey, do not let anyone influence your vote. I have a bunch of friends who voted for Trump last time and they have decided to go Jo Jorgensen. That is quite alright. I do not agree with their decision, but at least they are voting.

I saw an ad tonight for Frank Burns. Ughhhh. I am glad he is not on my ballot. I would probably leave it blank and not vote. His ad does not even mention that he is a Democrat. He has this part where he talks about recruiting Amazon to Cambria County. Umm, he sent them letters to build in the area. They never responded, nor did they actually come here and consider it. I get being a Democrat in a conservative area and having to be a bit more moderate, but Burns constantly speaks out against the Democratic party and basically panders to the Trump base.

And finally…I cannot believe there are people who are dumb enough to buy this whole Hunter Biden laptop story. Everything about it is so stupid. Sadly, we will have to hear about this for four years if Joe Biden does win. That is all right-wing media will talk about and that will trickle down to the idiot Trumpers out there.

That is all I have this week. It is almost time. I am feeling hopeful.
