The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs

Sometimes I like to take a break from sci-fi/fantasy and read history. I was in the mood for something different recently, and decided to try The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs by Steve Brusatte. It was a cool book. He details the early beginning of the dinosaurs, how they were not very successful during the early Triassic, and made their rise during the Jurassic.

Brusatte spends a decent amount of time explaining how sauropods became so big, and then the history of T-Rex. This ends up leading into the grand finale, how certain dinosaur lineages evolved into birds, while others went extinct when the asteroid hit.

If you like books about dinosaurs, or about the early world and how animals evolved the way they did, this book is perfect.
