I listen to a decent amount of podcasts. A variety of genres: true crime, science, history, tech, sports, and others. The main ones I listen to though are politics (538 and Pod Save America).
I wonder how they will change with a new president. I am guessing 538 does not change too much, since they will discuss the political issues from a data POV, which is one of the reasons I love their podcast. The guys from PSA have stated multiple times that their goal of Crooked Media is to be the lefts answer to Fox News (or something like that).
I think that is a good thing, but at the same time I worry that if they never criticize anything that Democrats do, then it just creates that echo-chamber that we see on the other side. I do not want that, I want to hear the positives (and the negatives) about policy issues and decisions made by the current administration.
If you want to listen to something cool, my Aunt Lori was the guest on a podcast called Sky High Musings. I definitely recommend checking it out.
One of the things I think is cool about her being on a podcast, is that I do not think I could be on one. I hate how my voice sounds, but also, I just do not think I have anything worth saying. I have two friends who have suggested doing a podcast before and I said no each time.
If I were ever to do a podcast, it would have to be focused and be about a specific subject. I would not want to do just a rambling mess like this blog. I do have one idea, but it will probably never materialize into anything.
