Sometimes amazing things happen to good people. And sometimes good things happen to snarky assholes, who complained to the FantasyBaseball Gods all year. I was losing to Lasher all week. My main concern was that Offord was beating Dustin worse than my score. And then I started to claw my way back, and on Saturday night, it was all tied. At one point on Sunday, I was winning 9-3. If I had maintained that lead, I would have jumped to fifth place. What a crazy end to the season, haha.
Fantasy Stud
I am going to celebrate a middle reliever this week. The unsung heroes of baseball. These guys come in and pitch an inning, sometimes in high pressure situations, or maybe when the game is out of hand. A guy like Justin Topa, who picked up two wins for me this week. Yeah, those two wins gave me that category. Thank you, Justin Topa!
The Season
I made the playoffs!!! Unfortunately, I take on Sean, who beat me two weeks ago. Who cares, I made it, and anything can happen in the playoffs. Congratulations to Offord for finishing the regular season with a 167-71-14 record. That is the all-time record for wins in a season. Impressive season!
I think “All I Need is a Miracle” describes my playoff chances. I love these 80s videos that have a fun story at the beginning.
