I used to be concerned about the prospect of robots taking over and enslaving all of humanity. And then we bought a Roomba and I will be honest, my fear has been alleviated.
Seriously, that thing is an idiot. It will get stuck on something and we get an alert that says it is stuck on a cliff. It finds every cord possible and gets them tangled.
And yet the best came yesterday when it got stuck in a loop. Yeah, it would turn and bump into the wall, then turn and bump into the laundry basket, then turn and bump into Payton’s backpack, turn again and guess what? Back to the wall. It did this for like thirty minutes.
Yeah, this robot is not going to be enslaving any humans anytime soon. We are definitely safe.
