The Nittany Lions keep winning and it looks like the rest of the country is starting to take notice. They are now ranked #13 in the country. PSU is 19-5 and it looks like the fans are finally getting behind the team. The Bryce Jordan Center was packed for the Minnesota game.
If they continue winning, they could end up with their highest seed in the tournament. In 2001 they were a fifth seed. That season they made it to the Sweet Sixteen. That was probably one of the most exciting seasons I can remember. Their best tournament ever was in 1954 when they lost in the Final Four. I am trying not to get too excited about the tournament, but it will be fantastic to actually have a team in it.
