I thought my team was doing well. Until I ran into Offord’s team. Talk about an epic beating. It was much worse than this since my team hit five HRs on Sunday, that at least made it look somewhat competitive. I also picked up a win and 15 Ks.
Fantasy Stud
No one on my team is worthy of being mentioned this week. I want to mention that Ronald Acuña Jr. stole five bases last week. I thought I was doing well with steals, but damn, Acuña almost defeated my entire team himself. There have been 455 steals this year, which is about .687 steals per game. Last season, the league averaged .511 steals per game. Feels like the base change definitely had an impact.
The Season
I went from third to eighth place after that loss. Just awful. Naturally Offord stays in first place. This week I take on Gideon, who jumped to sixth place after a nice win. I need a rebound here or things could turn ugly.
