The Marvel Announcement

The MCU video that was released yesterday was incredible. Not only is it a moving tribute to the movies that came before, we also get to see the upcoming movies…

Black Widow–7/9/21–nothing new here, just excited that we are close to the beginning of the next phase.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings–9/3/21–yep, still looks as awesome as when we saw it a few weeks ago.
The Eternals–11/5/21–holy crap, I honestly thought we would get a teaser in a few weeks, maybe before Black Widow. It did not show us too much, but it was enough to get me pumped for it.

After that we just got the list of movies, but with their full title screens…
Spider-Man: No Way Home–12/17/21–c’mon, we get four movies this year! I think that is great.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness–3/25/22–Sam Raimi directing, I dig it.
Thor: Love and Thunder–5/6/22–oh yeah, you know I am probably more excited for this than anything else.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever–7/8/22–this one already has me emotional thinking about it…
The Marvels–11/11/22–cool date. Will this movie be the most synergistic with the Disney+ shows?
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania–2/17/23–can Scott make more jokes about quantum everything? I hope so.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3–5/5/23–feels like a long time to wait, but it will go fast.

The best part was the ending though. The screen ends with what looks like a blue #4 surrounding Marvel Studios. Okay, it has a few implications. The obvious point is that it ushers in phase four of the MCU. Then, if you notice, it does look like the tilted A of the Avengers movies, so it could also be preparing us for the next Avengers movie. But honestly, we all know what it means…the Fantastic Four are coming. Hell yeah!
