2020 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 15 and Fantasy Football Playoffs Round One

Another week picking ten right. That was good for tops in the league. In fact I was three ahead of the next two, so I definitely helped myself out by expanding my lead. I am now ahead of Jon by five. After that we have Sean, Mom, John, and Adam.

Underdog Special: Chicago Bears (+3.0)
Who listened to me about the Dolphins? Send me some of those sweet winnings. This week take the Bears against the Vikings. I think they beat Minnesota outright and end the Vikings hopes of the playoffs.
Underdog Record: 10-4

Steelers Pick: Well the Bills rose to the occasion last week and gave the Steelers their second loss. The Steelers should have an easy time with the Bengals. I hope they can get the offense righted before they go into the final weeks before the playoffs.
Steelers Pick Record: 10-3

Before I talk about the actual playoff teams, can I mention that if I were in the playoffs, I would have dominated everyone last week. 226.40 points. Hell, I had 190.00 with a WR out. I guess my team waited until week 14 to finally put it all together. Assholes.

Two of the matchups were not very close. Congrats to Wrangler & 50 Shades of Jay for dominant performances. I do not feel bad for BatmanJason since he has finished in the top three almost every year. Sucks for John though, since he was the person I put all my money on to win it this year. Oh well, $1.42 down the drain.

If you remember, Tank the Fish made the playoffs because I defeated Dirty Punts last week. He had the tall task of taking on Ryan, whose team has been red hot (he rattled off six straight wins to move from seventh to first). The battle was all tied and it all come down to Monday night. Ryan had Cleveland’s defense and Tank had Justin Tucker. If you watched the game, then you know that defense was optional. Ryan scored -2.0 and well, Justin Tucker made a few extra points.

The most exciting quarterfinal match was between Lindsey and Gideon. Lindsey led 115.10 to 110.50. They each had one player from the Ravens (Lindsey had Mark Andrews, while Gideon had J.K. Dobbins). The Ravens drove down by using Dobbins in the final minutes, which gave Gideon the lead. I said to Lindsey that her only chance was for Cleveland to tie it up fairly quick, so that Baltimore would have a chance to score again.

I figured if the Ravens had under a minute to get into field goal position, then Jackson would be looking for Andrews. Baker Mayfield’s first pass cut the field down fast and the next thing you know, the Browns were in the end zone. I have never been so excited about a Ravens/Browns game. Sure enough, the Ravens came back up the field and this time relied almost entirely on Mark Andrews. He scored enough points to give Lindsey the win. Yahoo flipped their prediction percentage at least six times. After Dobbins had a few runs, I think Gideon had a 95% chance of winning. Just craziness how an exciting game like that, also had exciting fantasy implications.

This week sees Tank going up against 50 Shades, while Lindsey tries her luck with Wrangler.
