My mom got us a new television for our living room for Christmas. It is a 65″ Vizio LED Smart TV. Previously we had a 47″ in our living room. In fact, that television is eight years old, I bought it back when I lived in my apartment.
To be honest, there was nothing wrong with the TV. Mom asked what we wanted for Christmas and I jokingly said a 65″ TV. She said okay. I will never turn down a bigger television. The funny thing is, we had no clue what to do with the old one. At first I considered moving it to our room (we have two up there, figured a bigger one would be great). However, it would be two big for either place we have one now.
I considered putting it in Payton’s room, but what does a little kid need with that big of a TV? Plus, can you imagine how angry Kid2 would be when he is older that she has that size and he got a 32″? Ugh, I don’t even wanna hear it!
I decided to list it on the Facebook yard sale sites. Someone should be picking it up tomorrow. I know what you are probably thinking…because I thought the same thing at first. Why not store it somewhere? I mean, if we decide to move to a bigger house (that will happen at some point), you will need a TV for another room. And I figured at that point the prices are dropping each year, by then a decent 46-55″ should be pretty reasonable.
Anyways, I was worried that I may have to move the wall mount for this one. Fortunately it worked perfectly where I had it. The picture is amazing on this one. I do not know how I ever managed with such a small TV before. Thank you Mom for the amazing Christmas gift!
