It seems that every day another person announces they are running for the Democratic nomination for President in 2020. I thought it would be fun and interesting to create some kind of fantasy league.
My initial thought is to do some kind of auction draft. Something like DraftKings. You get $100 and can pick five candidates (I would probably leave a bottom tier of BLANK that you can write in). I think the points would work something like this…
25 Points for winning a state
15 Points for second place
10 Points for third
10 Points for winning a debate (may need to find a way to decide who wins a debate)
1 Point for being invited to a debate
3 Points for every Trump Twitter mention
-20 Points for a withdrawal
10 Points for securing a major endorsement (Obama, newspaper, etc)
100 points for winning the nomination
