My team stayed hot during the first week of the playoffs and put a pretty good beatdown on Jason. I get to face Lindsey this week.
Since I am on vacation this week, I will make this a short one. None of the usual stuff.
Over in the other bracket, Gideon crushed Offord 8-3. Gideon takes on Adam2. I think that will be a pretty good one, both teams are evenly matched, albeit built differently. Adam2 focuses on hitters and his group of pitchers is good, but he has no depth. Whereas Gideon has almost no bench hitters and a deep pitching staff (he and I probably have the same strategy).
Offord and Jason play each other this week for fifth place. The rest of the consolation matches look like this: Matt beat James and Pat defeated Dustin. That means James and Dustin duel for the coveted 11th place spot! Pat moves on to face Sean, while Matt takes his chances with Ryan. My money is on Ryan to win the consolation bracket.
