How Did I Do?–2022 Baseball Predictions

My picks were much better this year than last year. In American League, I picked four of the fifteen spots correctly, and managed one of the division champs (the Astros). Speaking of the Astros, I did get them winning the ALDS, but did not get the opponent. Over in the National League, I was much better. I picked nine right (I might have to look back and see where 13/30 ranks all-time). I was perfect in the NL East. I also had two of the division champs (Braves and Dodgers). My playoff picks were also much better in the NL. I had the Padres over the Mets in the Wild Card. I also had the Phillies in the WC, but I had them losing to the Braves in that round. I predicted the Padres beating the Dodgers in the NLDS.

I was not even close on any of my award predictions. The closest was Oneil Cruz, who finished sixth in ROY voting. I was close with my Pirates record prediction. They finished 62-100, where I said 60-102. I knew plenty of people who thought they would win around 70, those people were delusional. I was also close about losing 30 of their 40 games. They actually went 14-26. God they suck.
