2026 College Football Predictions: Independents

Notre Dame is one of the best teams in the country, and like last year, they will stumble at some point. It will be a stupid loss. They will beat Miami and BYU, but have a crappy loss to Syracuse, or even worse Michigan State.

UConn will have a down year. I like Jason Candle as the coach, but he is coming in with 70 incoming transfers. That does not seem like a recipe for success in the first year.
