We had our sonogram today and we finally learned if Kid2 is a boy or girl. I think you can figure out which we are having. I mean, the title gives it away. As does the blue paint.
We wanted Payton to keep her hands on Lindsey’s belly, then we would have her take off her hands so the world could see. Unfortunately, Payton was in a mood. She did not want to cooperate.
I am definitely excited about a boy. I am just happy that the balance of power has shifted to the male side in the Croyle household. Well, as long as we count Samson as just one of the guys.
There is so much to do from now until our son arrives. First, I need to put insulation in the attic. Our house loses so much heat and one of the rooms that is usually is the coldest is the Navy Room, which will be for the boy. After that we have to do all the room stuff. You know: furniture, rugs, wall decorations, etc. It was definitely going to be so much easier if it was another girl. Now…yeah, there is some work to do…except painting. I do not have to do that!
I will not lie, I am definitely excited about buying clothes for a boy. I go to these stores with Lindsey and always think “damn, there are so many cool outfits for boys!”
