2018 Fantasy Baseball Week 21

Holy crap! It happened. I destroyed James. And then Sean lost. I am in complete shock right now. My team was actually really good. So weird.

KOW–Gleyber Torres-KOW

A big part of that victory was due to Torres. He hit three home runs, scored three times, had ten RBIs, and a stolen base. He hit .478 with a .571 on-base percentage. That is pretty ridiculous for a rookie.

Around the League

Ryan 11 Matt 1
Lindsey 8 Dustin 3
Offord 8 Jason 4
Adam2 7 Gideon 5
Pat 6 Sean 5

Seriously, thanks James for not paying attention. And Pat, I probably owe him a muffin basket too.

Best Move of the Week

Again, there were no blockbuster moves this week. Most of the moves I made backfired.

The New Week

Things got very interesting for the final week of the season. Lindsey is three games up on Adam2. She takes on me. Yep, my wife could defeat me and lock up the first seed. Unfortunately, that win could possibly knock me out of the playoffs. Right now I have a 4.5 game lead on Sean. Even more scary is the fact that Ryan is 9.5 back. Remember how I was making fun of him all season? He could theoretically jump into the playoffs. He takes on Pat and Sean takes on Jason. In other matchups: Offord has Matt, Gideon takes on Dustin, and Adam2 faces James. There are definitely some wild scenarios that could happen this week!

Here is an appropriate song from Dazed and Confused. “Love Hurts” by Nazareth.
