2024 NFL Pick ‘Em Playoffs Round 2 & College Football National Championship

I only got two last week, but it does not make much of a difference since it appears that everyone gave up, except for Sean. He did get four right, but he cannot catch me, so I guess it is just for weekly bragging rights.

Underdog Special: Los Angeles Rams (+6.5)
The Vikings let me down last week, so why not go with the team that beat them? I do not think the Rams will win the game, but I do think it ends up being close. The Rams lost last time they met, but I think LA will find a way to shut down Saquon, and force Jalen Hurts to win the game. My prediction is 27-24 Eagles.

Steelers Prediction: HAHAHAHA. At least I was right about them losing in the first round of the playoffs again.

#7 Ohio State Buckeyes (13-2) vs. #5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (14-1)
Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia
Favorite: Ohio State (-8.5)
O/U: 46.5
My Score Prediction: 28-13 Ohio State
My Take: The Buckeyes will replicate the Nittany Lions first half success with the run game, but they will learn from their rival’s mistake and start airing it out to their talented receivers as the Irish try to stack the box. I think Leonard has a little more success running against Ohio State, but the Buckeyes defense just does not give up the big plays that Penn State did. Big time players come up big in big games, right? I think JTT has a monster game, similar to Sawyer’s game against Texas. Notre Dame will focus so much energy on Jack Sawyer, that Tuimoloau will have the chance to make some big plays.
