The next book in The Destiny’s Crucible series is just a collection of short stories. It was alright. The stories that continued to focus on Yozef seemed rather boring. The best stories were about the other survivors living on Anyar.
I enjoyed the first one (which was set on Earth and was about the people who had to respond to the plane crash and figure out what happened). They mentioned there were 26 missing bodies. Another story focuses on a female doctor, who is living in a village as a healer and has to save a nobleman’s life. Then there is the story of Mark Caldwell, which is fantastic, and the next book ends up being about him. I also rather enjoyed the story of the dead guy. It reads like a hunting party from some tribe finds one of the survivors, but they think he is some kind of ghost or something, and the young hunter kills him.
Yeah, I know…very high praise for a series.
