The Battle of the Bloggers ended with me giving Sean a beatdown. Sorry Sean! Some of the categories were close, but I cannot complain about my team’s performance. I would have liked to pick up more wins, since my pitchers did well, just did not get the run support from their teams.
Fantasy Stud
Manny Machado had a fantastic week and was one of the reasons I won so easily. Manny only hit one HR, but scored eight runs, knocked in three, and had four stolen bases. He racked up a .360 AVG with a .485 OBP. I am glad I kept him. I should point out that Ronald Acuña also had another huge week. Is he locking up the MVP already?
The League
Adam2 8 Matt 3–Trevor Bauer had 16 Ks this week…guess that foreign substance is paying off. Also, Adam2’s team had 69 strikeouts, nice!
Gideon 8 James 4–Hey, at least McNeil had a better week. At this rate he should be a .300 hitter by July.
Pat 6 Dustin 5–Damn Pat! Shane Bieber continues his dominance: two wins, 24 Ks.
Jason 9 Ryan 2–Ryan needs to bring that first place banner over to my place now.
Next Up
I am now in first place (I guess I should mention that Jason has the same record, but I must have the second tie-breaker criteria). This week I take on Adam2, who is only a game and a half behind us.
Sean has posted many music videos over the years. And honestly, I associate current pop songs with Sean. However, years ago he posted Mumford & Sons–“Little Lion Man” and it was weird because I heard the song a few weeks before and I had no clue who it was. Thank you for posting it because I knew the band’s name and was able to listen to more stuff and became a fan.
