2020 Democratic Primary: Michael Bennet

Who: Michael Bennet, Senator from Colorado

Slogan: “Building Opportunity Together”

Positive: He had a strong moment against Ted Cruz back in January during the government shutdown. If you recall, Cruz was saying the shutdown was hurting first responders. Bennet decided to remind everyone that Cruz led the shutdown of 2013 and he did not seem to care too much about first responders or the fact that Colorado was suffering from massive flooding and needed help.

Negative: He only has one T in his last name. People will wonder if it is French or something. Also, he has won some very narrow elections in his home state. It is not even a guarantee that he would carry his own state (I think he would, Colorado is purple, but they lean blue for president).

My Thoughts: He has a pretty good record and background. Unfortunately, he is not what the country needs at this moment. I think he is perfectly placed as a Senator from Colorado. Can you imagine, he wins the nomination, but then in the 2022 Senate election, a Republican wins his seat? That would suck. So no, stick to the Senate. Continue with these viral moments and please, for the love of god, fire your logo designer. That thing is awful.

Odds: Unknown
It may be too soon for the sites to try and determine if he has a shot. I will save them some time: no. He has zero shot, like Seth Moulton.
