Last year I did some research and actually worked on it for awhile. This year, well I have been busy, so you are getting a totally rushed version. Something tells me I will get about the same number correct as last year (4) and almost as good as a professional like Mel Kiper (5).

I keep seeing some reports that quarterbacks will not go high in this draft at all. Like only Willis and Ridder may go in the first round and they may go very low. Never underestimate GMs love of QBs. They could all be saying that hoping these guys will fall to them in the second, but my guess is some team drafts one and then all of a sudden they all start falling. Now, if I am wrong and Ridder or Willis is available at #20, I think the Steelers take one of them (my guess is they prefer Willis). The Bucs can afford to take Pickett, since they are not in dire need and could use him as a backup to Brady and see how he develops.
I am not sure if the Eagles would actually draft another Alabama receiver, so they may take Olave instead. I think if Linderbaum falls all the way to #31, the Bengals will be getting a huge steal and that would definitely help Joe Burrow stay upright for a full season.
I believe Dotson will be the lone Penn State player taken in the first round, but I think Arnold Ebiketie goes early in the second round. It seems that Matt Araiza is expected to be drafted in the fifth round. If Araiza is taken, does that mean Jordan Stout is left out and will need to wait for some camp invites? It seems crazy to me that teams do not draft punters. I know what you are thinking, but hear me out. Teams will take a flyer on some player in the final rounds and then cut them or they end up on the practice squad. But a punter? If they work out at all, they can be on your team forever and for relatively cheap. Why risk them signing with some other team? I guess my point here is that teams value special teams and talk about how winning the field position battle is crucial, but then they devalue the people actually kicking the ball. Seems weird to me.
Anyways, other predictions…
Conference Drafted Most: SEC
College Drafted Most: Georgia then Alabama then Ohio State
Penn State Players Drafted: 5
Pitt: 3
