2019 Fantasy Baseball Keepers

The fantasy baseball season is upon us! I am excited. Can I win it all for a third straight season? I will give it my best shot. Tonight was the keeper deadline and there were some interesting choices.

It was a tough decision for me, I decided to keep Cole & Nola, but I kept debating on that third one. Blackmon was the wild card for me. It was not a debate about how good he will be, but instead a debate over I should keep him or another pitcher. I thought about keeping Walker Buehler. I feel like he could have a big season, and having three high end pitchers would give me the freedom to draft a plethora of hitters early. In the end though, I stuck with Blackmon.

There were a few interesting keepers out there. Dustin kept Khris Davis, Jason kept Trevor Story (over Kris Bryant). I feel that Pat could have gotten away with drafting Vlad Jr. in the fifth or sixth round.

The cool thing is we have some fantastic players available next year: Trout, Harper, Freeman, Machado, Scherzer, Kershaw, Rizzo, Thor, Goldschmidt, and even Trea Turner. It will make my decision next year even harder. Damn it, Josh! Stop looking ahead to 2020…

Anyways, tomorrow night is the draft. The season starts now!
