This is how I see the show ending. Jon & Daenerys defeat the Night King and his army of undead. There will be a bunch of losses (it will be totally sad when Sansa dies fighting against the Zombie Dragon). But the living has won and Westeros will rejoice.
Who shall rule the Seven Kingdoms? Jon? Daenerys? The Targaryen’s were never good at succession. Should Cersei? Maybe Jaime? Tyrion? Yara? So many people. Jon Snow will have none of that nonsense. He will create a Republic of Westeros. Samwell Tarly will help him come up with a representative democracy. To keep the nobility in power, it will be similar to England with a House of Lords and House of Commons.
We will learn from Bran that Rhaegar’s dying wish went something like this…
“Give the power back to the people of Westeros!”
Yep, that is totally how the series will end. A final, two hour episode all about setting up charters that ensure democracy has a chance to thrive. The most boring finale of all time.
