2019 Fantasy Baseball Week 11

I came close, but that was not good enough to take down James. My hitting was great though. I just needed a little bit more from my relievers, another save or hold would have been nice.

Fantasy Player of the Week
I do not need to bother looking it up. This one is pretty easy since he is on my team. Charlie Blackmon was incredible this week: 12 runs, 6 HRs, 15 RBIs, with a .568 AVG/OBP. Even more incredible was his series against the Padres. He recorded fifteen hits in a four game series. He hit .652 in the series.

Around the League
Ryan 10 Matt 2
Sean 11 Lindsey 1
Gideon 9 Offord 3
Dustin 11 Pat 0
Adam2 9 Jason 1

Our matchup was the only close one this week. Dustin almost pulled off the Donut. Lindsey was absolutely destroyed by Sean.

Best Move
I will give this one to James. He picked up Steven Brault and it paid off. I figured Brault would give his normal Pirates performance of 3 innings, 7 runs, 16 hits/walks. You know, what the Pirates call a Quality Start these days. Instead Brault goes six innings, gives up zero runs, and picks up a win.

The New Week
I should be able to rebound against Matt. Lindsey’s season could be in trouble because she faces Ryan. James also has an easy week with Offord. Gideon takes on Jason, while Adam2 gets Pat. The big matchup this week is between Sean & Dustin. They are fifth and sixth respectively and only separated by 1.5 games.

Here are the new standings after such a tumultuous week.

Ryan jumped ahead of me, while Lindsey took a complete dive. Spots 4-8 are pretty close, so anything can happen. The top three are also close and all it will take is one bad week for one of us and the spots could flip around.
