This is an easy pick. Logan absolutely loves Spidey and His Amazing Friends. I think he and Payton have watched the first season (I think there are only like 11 episodes so far) at least 50 times. When we wrestle and fight, Logan insists that he is Spidey, Payton is Ghost Spider, and I have to be Rhino. He then webs me up. It is cute.
The show is basically the exact same as PJ Masks. But that does not make it any less entertaining. So far there are only three villains: Rhino, Green Goblin (known as Gobby), and Doc Ock (a female version). Spidey’s friends include Spin (which is Miles Morales…who you may know as Spider-Man from Into the Spider-verse), Ghost Spider (Gwen Stacy), Hulk, Black Panther, and Ms.Marvel. Not sure if we will see other heroes and villains next season or if they are just sticking with this group.
Some of you may have seen the pictures on Facebook of Logan’s room. When he got a big boy bed, we did the entire room in Spidey. I should mention that he insists that you say Spidey and not Spider-Man (he does not understand yet that they are the same person). If you say “oh, do you like Spider-Man?”, then he will yell “NO, I LIKE SPIDEY!”
I need to mention that the theme song is fantastic.
The kids enjoy listening to it and I wondered who it was by, since the music sounds familiar. I looked it up and it is Patrick Stump, the lead singer of Fall Out Boy. Once you realize that, you can definitely tell from some of the other songs. The entire soundtrack is great.
At first, I totally thought you meant the 80s version with iceman and firestar, which I loved as a kid.
