2018 NFL Pick ‘Em Week 8 and Fantasy Football Week 7

This was not a good week to only get seven. Almost everyone scored nine, and Offord was the big winner with ten.

Underdog Special: Denver Broncos (+11.5)
I was way off last week with Buffalo. Sorry if anyone lost their house after making that bed. My bad! This week there a few decent underdogs to take. The Chiefs and Broncos was fairly close last time. I think the Broncos are one of those teams that can keep games close, but just do not have enough fire power to actually win. I would also feel confident in taking either Cleveland or Green Bay here.
Underdog Record: 2-4

The standings now go Gideon, Mom, Offord, Sean, Jon, Josh, Adam, Ryan, Jason, Lindsey, and Rob.

I finally won! My win is mostly due to Offord’s team under performing, but whatever, I will take it! Good thing Andy Dalton finally reverted back to his normal level. I was also going to be mad if I ended up losing a close one because Trubisky outscored Newton, but I had him on the bench.

I would like to mention that if Scott had played against ten of the other teams in the league, he would have picked up a win. Poor guy has been so unlucky.

Standings
Adam (7-0)
BatmanJason (5-2)
Jessica (5-2)
Jarrod (5-2)
Ryan (5-2)
Gideon (5-2)
Jason (5-2)
Rob (4-3)
Offord (3-4)
Seth (3-4)
Lindsey (3-4)
Bill (2-5)
Josh (2-5)
Dustin (2-5)
Scott (0-7)
John (0-7)

Adam has a comfortable lead at the moment. I will get to that reason in a second. Pretty crazy that second through seventh place all have a 5-2 record. I feel like the coming weeks should become fairly interesting as these teams play each other. The standings will definitely jumble around.

So why is my brother having such a dominant season? Well he took a risk. In a league where the elite QBs can easily win a week for you all on their own, he waited until the seventh round to draft a QB. It was a risk, but it paid off. He drafted Saquon in the first round and Travis Kelce in the second round.

The battle to watch this week will be in the Croyle household. Yep, I am taking on my wife. She usually asks me for advice on who to pick up or start, but I think she may want to consult someone else this week.
