The Great (Dead)Mouse Hunt

Remember last year when I went mouse hunting? Well we have been battling the mice all damn year. It seemed like things were going well for us, but then we started hearing them in the walls.

A few days ago though, we started to smell something in Lindsey’s closet. I took everything out and could not find anything. So I looked up how to find a dead mouse in the walls. One of the things mentioned using a borescope. I decided to look them up on Amazon and it turns out they are not that expensive.

I had some issues setting it up on my phone, so I just used the desktop computer (I had to move it to the closet). I drilled a hole and the scope worked just fine, but I did not see a dead mouse. I drilled another hole further down…again, nothing. After the fifth hole, I saw something, I twisted the camera and there it was! Dead mouse. I cut out the drywall and reached in and removed the stinky bastard.

Unfortunately, I am out of drywall patch, so I will have to repair it in a few days. Lindsey was not down with having a hole though, so I taped some cardboard over the holes (I realize a mouse can get through it, but at least we will know if one does make a hole).

Lindsey says her clothes smell like dead mouse, so she is making me wash all of her clothes. Yeah, that should only take me like fifty loads. She has a ridiculous amount of clothes…
