This was a tough battle. I was up, then down, then back up again. Ryan ended up closing the distance over the weekend, and had me a little nervous. My pitching let me down this week, but fortunately the hitting was there for the rescue. Also, 15 home runs? Where did that come from??? Crazy thing is Pete Alonso only hit two.
Difference Maker
Gunnar Henderson made sure I defeated Ryan. He hit three home runs, scored eight times, knocked in seven, and stole two bases. Those are the kind of numbers I want from a keeper. In another league, I traded Henderson to Ryan for Mookie Betts, if Gunnar plays like this for the next five to ten years, I might regret that move.
This week I take on Lasher. I am still in fourth place. Sean managed a win against Offord, which has me conflicted. I want Sean to suffer utter destruction this year, but I also would like to move up in the standings.
