The Last of Us–Episode 102

Not really sure how I should write about this show. Not going to do recaps. Maybe just some general thoughts. I love bullet points! 

-The opening with the scientist in Jakarta was so well done. When she says about bombing the city, wow. Also, I wonder if there was a paper about mycelium networks and the fungi that the creators of this and Star Trek: Discovery both read. Funny how different genres interpret and use science.

-I guess we do not call these zombies. But you know, they are zombies. Just with different abilities. I like how not knowing about them helps build the suspense. 

-I did not expect to lose Olivia from Fringe so quickly. I mean, I figured she would die, since the pictures of the game always show Joel and Ellie. The weird fungal tentacles in the mouth were weird, but creepy enough. 

-It was that difficult for them to get out of Boston. How are they ever going to make it across the country? I mean, yeah they need a battery in order to get a car, but I feel like even with a vehicle, traveling will be impossible. Twenty years of everything falling apart will have major consequences. Not to mention all of the awful things they will run into.
