Oh man, it is that time of year again! Fantasy baseball is ready to start. This year I am a little more ready for things (last year I messed up the draft like three times, hahaha). Some of you may have remembered that last year I mentioned that the shortened season would not count against someone’s years. I need to update the colors on my chart to account for this. The only person that actually could not keep anyone was Sean and Max Scherzer, but I have no clue if he would have kept Max anyways. There is some good news for the people with players in the red this year, they get another year. So relax James, you can keep deGrom for one more year.
It did not matter for me because I kept three players that were new to my team last year: Manny Machado, Mookie Betts, and Bryce Harper. I like having three fantastic hitters, which means I can use my first picks on pitchers. I have the fifth pick in the draft, so after the first three rounds (which is when the keepers go in and anyone who did not keep a player gets to pick) there should be some great pitchers available.
The draft is Tuesday the 23rd. I am excited!
