I was going to be upset about losing all the hitting categories, but after I looked at all the other teams, my hitting was solid. I would have won against many of the other teams. Jordan’s team was just that good this week. I wisely decided to not start Jack Flaherty on Sunday against the Dodgers, despite having a great previous game. I do not think it would have hurt me, but better safe than sorry.
Fantasy Stud
Corey Seager returned from the IL and continued hitting like he did before the injury. He hit two home runs, scored five times, knocked in seven, and he hit .538. 7/13 in four games. Definitely helped me rebound that average and on-base percentage.
The Season
Big losses for Offord and Ryan, but a close matchup between Dustin and Jason means that I stay in fifth place. Things continue to tighten for all of us now. This week I take on James, who is only one game behind me.
I think this song is appropriate for beating Jordan this week. Also, we are all old in this league and 90s music just hits us perfectly.
